I think it's a shame they couldn't include the conversation with Jaime, but your average viewer wouldn't have remembered the brief chat we had about Tysha in season one so it was inevitable it would get cut. It impacts his thoughts a lot and occasionally his interactions, but I think given that we won't get his internal singing about hands of gold, the show won't really be any worse off without it.
I liked Tywin until the very last episode, I always thought of him as a strong and honorable (well at least honorable towards his family) person.I liked him even though he despised Tyrion and played dirty in the war. But when I realised he was with Shae when all this time he was telling Tyrion to not be with any who**s; I started hating him.
