Am thinking of getting started on season 2 but have heard from some people that it's pretty hard to follow if one hasn't read the books (I did really enjoy season 1 though). What do you guys reckon?
I haven't read the books and I've managed ok. STILL don't know a fair few names but follow it fine.

Yeah The books are supposed to be on track to finish in time for the TV series to be made one book per year, so not as long as some of the other gaps

I have dubbed one of the characters "random nurse girl" for the last two months. I think as long as you have a idea of who's who, its fine.

Sky Atlantic tomorrow, or in a few hours tonight if you're in the USA.

That's fine until somebody talks about them when they're not present Her name is Talisa, just in case that situation arises

anyone else have a bit more respect for Lancel after the last episode? He did seem to grow some balls by trying to help with the fighting and standing up to Cersei.

    Thought that was pretty good!

    Loved the Dragons.

Can't help thinking the white walkers described at the start of the first book were a tad more graceful a little less dawn of the dead....

I hope this isn't the last we see of shagger and bron!

Some PotC **** went down at the end of that episode! Still good, though. If it weren't for the ending, I'd have thought this was a filler episode because not much happened at all, tbh.

    Khaleesi :adore:

Yeah I think we can sort of look at blackwater as the Season finale for the kings landing lannister/baratheon ark. And this episode was more of just an epilogue for that to set things up for season 3.

This was more the season finale for Winterfell/Jon Snow/The North and the Khaleesi.

I wish the seasons were longer than 10 episodes Another year to wait now.

I really hate the white walkers, they creep me out so much

The house of the undying was a bit disappointing, I know most of the budget must have gone on blackwater last week but it would have been nice to include a little bit more. That baby was so cute though! Awww.

I'm kind of pissed that they've shown Littlefinger tell Sansa that he'll help get her home or whatever he said. No one was supposed to know that so early.
