Cardiff vs Bath Uni?

Just wondering generally which one has the better psychology department?

I know Bath's higher in the overall rankings, and they both have a high reputation for their psych departments but that's all... Plus Bath's course seems to have more variety since there's an extra module on some other subject i.e bio, neuroscience, etc? And they both have the placement year...

Plus which is cheaper for overall expenses (accomodation, food, etc etc)? I know Cardiff's one fo the cheapest cities in the UK and Bath's kinda an isolated place or something but I don't know much besides that... (sorry, i've never been to the uk..)

Any useful information is appreciated! =)

Guess its not usefull but i think i would pick Cardiff  Only because i can only cope in larger cities  Good luck choosing btw!
Cardiff has CUBRIC (Although MEG is a complete waste of money).

I'd go there.

Bath's not isolate it's only 15mins away from Bristol (best nightlife in country, apparently)

Hmm, well I've always thought of Cardiff as being better for psychology than Bath (despite the league tables, etc.) due to their facilities and good teaching. I personally prefer the sound of Cardiff, but as they're both obviously really good for psychology, it's best for you to choose the sort of place you'd like to live. As you said, Cardiff is cheap, but then Bath doesn't have to be expensive either.
