Is it just me or have the fire alarms been going off all day today? Or at least some sort of alarm. I'm not quite sure what the fire alarm actually sounds like.

i'm in Galbraith and they've only gone off once for a few seconds, no one evacuated. i heard in Mill Hall they were going off very often during Fresher's Week.

Hey guys!

I'm new to this site and i'm hoping to become a university student in 2006, possibly at Brunel. Just wondering, do all the halls have lifts to each floor or staircases only? Need to know cause of my disability, thanks.

Galbraith does, yep. I think some halls have a specialised disabled room/bathroom if that's needed too. If you're really interested in coming to Brunel, check out the accomodation website:

http://www.brunel.ac.uk/life/accommodation/accomoffice/

In general the disabled features of the uni are pretty good, there generally are lifts and access to many, if not all, buildings

Good luck with your application!
