Re: Calling all 2012 VetMed entry hopefuls, *VERY* Early i know!I emailed two weeks ago and they just said to be patient.(Original post by cionasmith)
Has anyone emailed to see how long Notts are gonna take? Or seen anything on Twitter?
Someone else could try emailing them - just to see where they stand now?

Re: Calling all 2012 VetMed entry hopefuls, *VERY* Early i know!Maybe we should all bombard them with emails and see if we get a result(Original post by MillyPixie)

This year I plan to gain another valuable lambing experience and continue my commitments at xyz and abc etc.
I really didn't have anything else planned because I had to retake some exams so that was my priority
If you mention travelling I'd write something like to build my social and communication skills I plan to spend time discovering the different cultures bla bla, something like that so its relevant to your application -
Re: Calling all 2012 VetMed entry hopefuls, *VERY* Early i know! When I rang them up last week that's exactly what they said, told me to just keep badgering them(Original post by cionasmith)

although I doubt there will be that much they can do until all the people with offers get their butts into gear and accept or decline their offers! Chop chop people

Hey Guys,
For everybody who has firmed veterinary offers at University check out this thread.

I have decided it would be a good idea if people who were going to the same vet school got to know each other
Congrats everybody, I'm sure everybody is going to be a fantastic vet

Re: Calling all 2012 VetMed entry hopefuls, *VERY* Early i know!
Hi
,
I've just firmed Notts and put RVC as my insurance
(have already got my grades but was worried to not have a back up in case anything went wrong with Notts!)
Anyway I'm now applying for accomodation and was wondering if anyone had any ideas on accomodation at Notts. I swaying towards the standard plus en suite but was wondering if vacating the room at easter or by 21st june would be a problem? (bearing in mind I have family 2 mins up the road where I can leave all my stuff)
Any ideas anyone??

) I'm firming aswell!!
I'm going for for standard en suite, I don't like the idea of sharing a toilet with people after a particularly messy night!!
I can't see why vacating the room would be a problem, people go home/on holiday from Uni all the time!
If your on fb there's a big group of Notts firmers here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/414180631928666/
You can see what everyone else is doing!

Re: Calling all 2012 VetMed entry hopefuls, *VERY* Early i know!Yeah I was going to go for the standard en suite but the standard plus en suite is larger, you get a bigger bed and because it's for 35wks not 44wks it's cheaper! Thanks(Original post by Angry cucumber)
