Thanks! I need an A. I wouldn't be able to get it. :/

I know! More time to revise, the other unit is in the morning too. Or well just get it over and done with. How's your revision going?

I've been mainly concentrating on market structures, behaviour of firms and going to read over the labour market and market failure later on. I just feel there's too many diagrams to learn :eek3:. I need a high mark aswell to cover for my other exams so i'm hoping good questions come up!

I hope Poverty comes up, it's been popular in the past so there's a good chance it will.

I've got a basic understanding of most of it, not too sure on the exam technique but i'm settling for 40% to get a B so I should be alright with what I know now.

I need to do Labour market then try to do exam questions. I know, there's like 20 for this unit. :/ I only know the monopoly diagram properly. I know :/ Hopefully you get a choice on the essays. I need to read on some real life market situations.

I felt like i knew the subject in jan but clearly not!!!
I dont even know what to go over anymore. i feel like i know when i look in the book, but i was looking at the specimen paper and i could only answer the poverty question, and i dont think that will come up again

oooO i saw this in one of the past papers! Got confused for 5 mins ( it's not mentioned in the aqa book ). But apparently it's just like perfect competition but just for the labour market, e.g all the assumption but wage specific, each firm takes a wage that the market demand and supply produces bla bla bla and more workers would enter the market if higher wages are given which reduces individual wage rates for the firms in the long run.

I hate poverty and inequality hardly anything to write about , i hope they don't come up but I would advise you to go over the market structures as a question is bound to come up on it and the labour market.

    Good luck for tomorrow !

In a country where there is no welfare system, something as simple as not having a job/savings, can cause you to fall into absolute poverty.

Absolute Poverty in the UK could be the homelesss, however that homelessness may be through choice rather than necessity (apparently).

Is anyone bothering with CBA? It came up in january in section 2. What are the chances of it appearing in the data response?

ok i really dont know what to revise cos nothing is going in. so im going over the specification.

    1. LR and SR perfectly competitive market digrams are the same right? apppart from them being able to make supernormal p. in the SR but not in the long run because of no barriers to entry?!
    2. What do you guys mean about "loads of monopoly diagrams"? cos i can only see the one that looks like a spaghetti mess
EDIT: WHAT the hell is HIT AND RUN COMPETITION?!?!?!

I'm getting slightly worried that I probably haven't done enough revision.

Having said that 39% should be pretty easy to get with what i've done, just need to remember definitions as they're worth quite a few marks and then to get limitations and a judgement into the 25 mark question.

Similar unis too. My firm is LSE. Lol Psychology and Economics?

I have a lot to go through, Don't have that much time.
The grade boudnires for the Jan paper was quite low, i think it was 57/80 Raw marks is an A, which get converted into 80 UMS marks. I think now sure, you can check the marking scheme.

Try looking at example essays if there is any, and marking scheme for that paper.
