Where can we get grade boundaries for the OCR modules done in June 2010??
Were they not on the Edexcel website?

How come there are no A*s?

How come there are no A*s?
To work out A* boundary (roughly, it might vary by one mark either way), subtract the B boundary from the A boundary. Then, add this number (the difference between the two) to the A boundary. This is the mark for 90 UMS or an A*. For the full UMS boundary, simply double the difference between A and B, and add this to the A boundary. If you've done S1, you can use linear interpolation to work out what raw mark corresponds to which UMS. Hope this helps

n.b. i might have misunderstood your question. i *think* there are no a* scores per module, because you cannot get an a* in any given module, it is intended to be an overall grade for a complete A2. But then i might be wrong

Thanks for that Arsey- But you've made a mistake (I think). The C4 June 2010 boundaries for 90 UMS was 67/75, not 68/75. Also, I got 93 in C4, what raw mark was that? Thanks.

    thought i would bump this.

It is done in office 2010; so may not open if you are using an older version. If so, go to the microsoft website and download their office compatability pack.

People are getting better at Maths, I guess. Obviously enough people must have got 75 in the appropriate exams to push 100 UMS up to that level. Damn .

Hi arsey.. Do you have the link for the tables that say exactly what ums = marks?

I know there is one for 90,80,70 ums etc etc

But I want to know for example how many marks 84 ums equals to or like 36 marks is how Many ums?

Btw it's for the Jan 2011 modules.

    Many thanks....

On that note... 100 UMS <333 . So happy xD . But then again this makes me think it's 74/75 highest for 100 as I know I slipped up on the rates of change question (didn't put a minus sign); must have been lenient I guess.
