Modern Languages/swapping courses
What's the realistic chance of being able to swap course at end of first year? Been accepted for ML but was disappointed by grades (though did meet the requirements) and did well in English. What are my realistic chances of, say, doing French, German and English in first year then at the end of that year swapping to English Literature?
You just have to make sure that you fulfill the first year requirements for English Lit. That means that you'll have to take English Lit 1 or Scottish Lit 1. You must also take English Lang. 1, but you don't need to fulfill that requirement until the end of second year.
So if you do French, German, and Eng. Lit 1, you should be fine with the switch.
