Change of allocated room!

The Accommodation office contacted me and told me they changed my allocated room at Jarrat Hall only 2 days before I go! Why do you think they did so guys???? :confused:

maybe they 'double booked' it or something. or thought it was a 6 room flat when it was 5.. have you already paid deposit/signed contract? if so, and even if not, i'd say you've at least got the right to ask what's going on.

I askd them but they didn't answer me, I sent a lot of stuff by mail to the old address and told everybody.. I paid the deposit too but the contract wil be signed upon arrival .. :frown:

That sucks for you. When my brother started at Birmingham (this was about 8 years ago) he turned up on the day to move into his flat to find out that they had double-booked it. He ended up having to move in with 4 international students that already knew eachother. But hopefully that doesn't happen anymore!
