General Engineering at University!

Hey, Im just finishing my first year if college, doing physics, maths further maths and computing. So i've started to look at universities, hopefully to study engineering.
however Im not sure what kind of engineering id like to do further down the line as a job, and there have come to the conclusion that a general engineering degree would be the better option.

So is there anyone that has done the course? Can offer an advice on whether this is a good decision. And could you suggest some good quality universities that offer the course. I hope that i will eventually get A's so have been looking at Oxford and Durham, but i will also need an insurance.

Warwick also does a general course. It's a good choice if you really don't know what you are doing and want to maximise your options later. The drawback is that most universities don't offer this type of course.

Oxbridge, Durham, Warwick, Sheffield do a BEng general first year, think Aberdeen do it too.
