I've never heard of Dundee Abertay and Heriot. :s

I meant Heriot-Watt.
From what I've heard Heriot-Watt is regarded higher than Abertay, but that's just what I've heard. Getting a good 1st class degree would probably be more vital to getting into a masters course at a top university.

Heriot watt definately better degree too
Depends what course you want to do at Msc level.

What is better (bachelor's degree):
1. Engineering at Dundee Abertay
2. International Business Management and Languages at Heriot
when I would apply to top unis (Oxbridge, LSE) to do Masters?

The university you go to does not matter for Master's.

Read Oxford's and LSE's entrance requirements for more information about what is required/preferred.

So only the grade matters?

Economics.

You will need to do a 2 year Msc then i.e. a diploma in economics because the actually Msc because with both course you wont have studied any economics. If you're aright with this then the Engineering degree will be far better, this is due to the mathematical element it has, this means it'll be easier to get onto a diploma course and easier to come to terms with the maths. Dare I say this but International Business Management is rather useless if you want to go into Economics at Msc level.

Thanks. However, I am concerned that after Civil Eng. at Dundee Abertay I will have smaller career oportunities, in case of not doing MSc.
