The Student Room Group

Man works 50-57 hours a week in finance. What sports can he do in freetime?

Are there any sports clubs for men who are around 25-50 ish?

APART FROM GOLF AND BOWLS AND NON-PHYSICAL SPORTS LIKE THAT.

I really have no clue.

Are they too old for hockey and lacrosse? Because they are my sports, as well as martial arts.

I'm worried that when I grow up, I won't be able to do sports, and if I do, it will be with a friend or something, and not in a club like place.

I don't want to turn into a fat talentless old man and treat talent as if it's a thing of the past. waaaa.

p.s I'm 18.
Squash?
Veteran football?
Tennis?

I don't think you're ever too old for any kind of sport unless it's your job. Anyway, you haven't gotten there yet I assume so why worry about it? Just do some research, I'm sure there's places to go.

Squash, Tennis was my original thought.

lol..thanks. lol at walking, wrestling, snow shoveling, stretching, home repair, baton twirling and a few others.
Uh, any sport at all. Though if you just want to stay healthy, going to the gym is probably the most efficient thing to do in terms of time spent.

A) Cheerleading ftw.
B) What exactly does "Children's Games" describe?

I'll have you know that baton twirling is an extremely difficult and competitive sport.
50-57 hours? Man up.
Squash is the ultimate businessman's sport.

Apparently..

Running. You don't need much equiptment (except of good shoes) and it is the best sport activity if you have to be flexible.
Moreover it is common in the most (bigger) companies to participate as a group in running events like the JP. Morgan Corporate Challenge.
Badminton! At first badminton is a bit crap but once you have reasonable technique then it is awesome.

Most big companies have gyms at work, so a spin class at lunch wouldn't go a miss.
