What are your experiences of well paid student jobs? How much do you make an hour? How much tips do you make?
I make £13.50 ph working as a door steward part time which I know is pretty good - I am curious as to what others earn while studying

I make £6.50/hour in a call centre phoning people doing surveys. It does what I need it to and is easy as sin, but there are students making £13.50/hour?

It is really sad IMO -

How are woman who do this type of work ever going to be able to re-adjust their lifestyle after graduation.

Surely they will be used to the money and attention?

I guess after you lose your dignity that first time it doesnt matter anymore

I get £7 an hour to do charity fundraising plus there is an excellent bonus scheme... team leaders get £10 per hour and I know someone doing the same work as me who has pulled in about £1100 in the last two weeks.

Of course. It's not like every girl's doing it, but it's not just one or two girls on campus either. The money's really good for the hours you have to work.

Some become prostitutes/escorts, but it's not all that. Plenty more do lapdancing, which isn't half as shocking. There are other jobs too: some girls just get paid by clubs to be scantily-clad dancers whoring themselves as eye candy.

Some girls do it at home during the holidays rather than during university. It's often easier that way.

No big deal. It's not great, but not many lives are ruined by it.

It depends what campaign you're on. I work for a fund-raising company and i'm currently on Cancer Research UK.

The other guy was a team leader on the campaign for The Children's Society I think

Based on per hour rates the best 'normal' jobs on campus seem to be Brand Ambassador ones. Good rate of pay is the upside but irregular hours can be the downside if you are looking for a regular wage.

If you work for Red Bull or Shark or any of the big brand ones you can even get a motor!! Although this does seem to be the territory of the blonde, Jack Wills student.

Is anyone doing this type of work?
