Entrance Requirements

Hey Guys,

I'm asking this on behalf of my boyfriend. He's hoping to start a part-time course next year at uni (as he already has a very good job in his field), and the courses are asking for UCAS points instead of specific grades. Now...

He's done A-Levels and HNC/HND (can't remember which - he can, but he's not here at the moment), and was wondering whether his A-Levels AND marks for his HNC are taken into consideration, or just the relevant HNC?

Thanks guys!

EDIT: More info - he's got 3 A-levels, and an AS-level and a HNC in Control Systems Engineering and is applying to Control Systems Engineering at University - so the HNC is relevant, and his A-Levels are also fairly relevant, but would they all be counted in his UCAS points?

Those are the tables for calcualating how many UCAS points he has
I can't see why they wouldn't take his A levels into account unless they state on the website they don't. Any qualification on those tables (and even some that arent) are translated into UCAS points, so they'll take his A levels and his HNC if its on there, if not email the university
