It might add some value for you. I mean the name might go someway if you haven't done your undergrad there. It depends on what you want to do with it, most economics students I would imagine end up in finance.

Why aren't you staying on to do the Masters? The whole point of those Diploma conversion courses is to provide an entry route to a Masters course. As stand alone qualifications they aren't much, even though they are intense.

As above, really. It's a bit pointless; like doing a GDL to convert to law but never actually going into law.
