Hi,

I'll hopefully be joining the University of Sheffield in September. I'm wondering how easy it is to find a job within the student union and also within the city itself?

I've never tried, but i'm told finding a job in the students union isn't that easy, within the city is much easier, sheffield has an excellent jobshop inside the union to help you with any applications and provides information on hundreds of jobs.

I'm not a University student but I live in Sheffield; I must admit that finding jobs is becoming a lot harder as most shops want permanent/full time workers.
