What does this quote mean to you?

What does it mean when someone says "Throw your heart out infront of you and the rest will follow?"

What kind of lifestyle would someone have if they adopted this quote fully?
Would they be impulsive? Ignorant?

What do you guys think?

and also, What does it mean to be "Open hearted"? Does being 'open hearted' link with the quote?

Are you sure you got the right quote?

I'm guessing it means follow your passions/dreams and don't worry about failing.

Alternatively, it could just mean be open with your feelings/emotions and be honest about them. I think open-hearted links with this interpretation; it means being kind and being honest about your thoughts or intentions.

But I guess you would be instinctive, with no long term planning, and probably end up with the original line. At least no regrets ; )
