Am I allowed to retake a year?

Hello,
In my first year I did a diploma course which provided access to the 2nd year at university. And 2009-2010 academic year I was doing the second year programme at Brunel University. But things didn't work out for me.
For most of this past year I was having emotional problems, struggling to adjust to this new place of study and juggling a part-time job with uni. So I got depressed. In February I went to see a student counselor twice. At the time I didn't find it very helpful, so desided not to continue.
After the final exams in May I submitted a mitigating circumstances form saying that I was depressed. I got the results on Friday saying that I failed 4 out of 6 modules and therefore have to withdraw.
I've been seeing a counsellor again (a different one) since the exams in May.
I can't find any information on the university website regarding year retaking.
And I am a foreign student.
What would you advise me to do?
Talk to your uni. If you've got a personal tutor than they might be a good first port of call. Alternatively speak to the admin department for your course.
