Just hand round a load of CVs, or go to your union, because they often have job vacancies advertised.

Don't worry if you don't get something straight away though, I handed around no fewer than 30 CVs, and got no replys from anyone, apart from Harvey Nichols, and Accessorize *who offered me a job*

if you wanna work in a call centre try esure, rbs/natwest, and CIS/co-op bank (i used to work for them )

they all pay quite well for part time jobs. (£6-8 an hour)

all those names are clicky clicky!

Speaking of call centres, DO NOT WORK FOR TICKETMASTER!

I've not worked there myself but have heard only bad things from people I know who have!

I've heard funny things about ticketmaster too! Plonking you in the call centre bit and turning you into a zombie, playing promotional messages at you to brainwash you. It sounded funny to me. Not very nice conditions for working though :-D
