I hear that the rat clue could be Boscombe Valley Mystery. A ballarat on the mans lips and all that..

It could be a Sherlock Holmes interpretation of Ratatouille.

Maybe a new villain in the form of Rattigan from The Great Mouse Detective? No? Okay...

There's a rat living in Sherlock's hair who does all the investigating and deductive work for him? I like this suggestion. :holmes:

Balla-rat seems more likely as an explanation. Which leads to the concept of traditional fisticuffs in a public house, I would like to see Master Cumberbatch practising the gentlemanly arts.

Shame we have to wait so long between series but is better than the alternative of not being able to do it. Hope the next series is not the last. Been meaning to read some Sherlock Holmes but not got round to it yet.

And in the books when the man is dying he says 'a rat' which Sherlock knows is supposed to be Ballarat in Australia.

I save the last two episodes to watch later..I will try to resist the temptation and celebrate the coming of the new episode by finishing the last two the night before the new one comes!

Why? It happens in one of the early adventures so most of the adventures of Holmes and Watson happen with John married.
Because John and Sherlock belong together.

Is there a date set for the 3rd series? I'm really looking forward to it; Sherlock is one of my favourite TV series ever made.
