How much will you be living on per week?

Considering I've got my student finance through saying how much money I'll be getting, decided to work out how much I'll be living on per week.

After accommodation and gym fees/supplements and clothes  , I have around £120 to spend per week for the first term.
Hopefully I can find a part-time job to get some extra.

I do eat a lot and cook my own food, I've budgeted £70 for food per week -might seem a lot but better to overbudget and I do rather like the finer things
This leaves me with £50 for going out/socialising/trips and what not. Considering I'm very social, I don't know whether £50 will be enough!

Also anyone else know how much they'll be living on?

95 quid per week, minus the cost of food and a fiver for contact lenses.
wait, something is off here

How on earth do you have £120 a week AFTER accomodation?

Explain yourself, show your math

Loool u do realise that most of TSR ppz, are just rich **** ... im just hoping to get a job to spend about 200 includin accomodation
jees £70 for food just for you for a week is a bit much! we only spend bout £100-£120 for a week for the 4 of us at home :rofl2:

i hope i have like £120 after accomodation a week to spend from my student finance
£70 on food? You planning on stockpiling for a nuclear winter?
I really hope that's from your parents and not student finance!
you can tell who has no real life experience when they budget £70 for food a week for one person
£96 I think it was...
Probably only need £40 for food.
Not going to this university, but wtf? :lolwut:

I'll have £70 a week on after accommodation and I consider myself very lucky. Means I'm not totally screwed if I can't find a job. :/
ermmmm, -£50 or so every week.

£70 is a lot of food for one person... but each to their own I suppose.
I think my downfall will be gigs... :/

Well from student finance I get after accommodation £416.00. My parents will be giving me £500 and as I'm well off and lucky with work I have got £1,500 per term of my personal money.

I will be spending around £700 on supplements, gym/health products and clothes which leaves me with around £120 per week.
Considering I've spent 6 months in a developing country, I know how to manage money, I'd just rather not.
Obviously I won't be going out of my way to spend that much every week but it'll give me comfort knowing it's there if I need it.

And I think maximum I'll be spending on food is around £50, Will try not to spend that £20

£70 a week, food = no more than £20 but still fine foods as i love to cook. I can make a meal out of the minimal  & i'm sure some weeks i wont even spend the other £50 so i can save for a good gig or something!

But £70 a week is plenty, i've lived in my own house for about a year so i'm kind of experienced on how to budget
