Re: The European/World Football Thread IIAgreed, Villa basically got them to the semi-finals.(Original post by Kevmeister)
Both have scored the same amount of goals, but only one played a part in a World Cup winning side. -
Re: The European/World Football Thread IIHell yea(Original post by antonfigo)

Re: The European/World Football Thread IIClub football wise Tevez edges it. If we look at it internationally Tevez should just go hide in a corner. Overall Villa edges it, Tevez had a fantastic year mind.(Original post by Jeppasloth)
Still think Tevez had a better year as an individual.
I wanted Xavi to get it but happy with Leo, it was Iniesta I didn't want to receive it so relieved that didn't happen.
Also Hallenius got robbed of his goal award, Altintop's face said it all. -
Re: The European/World Football Thread II(Original post by Barça)
Ohh dear, mind you maybe they'll do better against Madrid in the Copa, I mean this has to be their embarrasment of the month right?

Re: The European/World Football Thread IIAgreed. That goal is the sex tbh.(Original post by Barça)
Also Hallenius got robbed of his goal award, Altintop's face said it all.
Can Messi equal Platini's record of 3 in a row next year?

Re: The European/World Football Thread III think Barca will win more than Real Madrid this season tbh. Stronger squad in every position and more consistent.(Original post by Stu Laverty)
At this point, every indication is that it's going to be between Messi and Ronaldo. It could just come down to who wins more things with their club. They're clearly the best two players in the world right now.
I'd love for Messi to win three in a row though
Looks like Messi it is.
