He was world class when he played for Lyon although I don't what's happened to him now, has he been benchwarming since his arrival at Real?
I think he had an important role in the first 2 seasons, then had a major injury which meant he didnt play much in that season. Thereafter, L.Diarra has been preferred.

I said the same :teehee: He might not even want L. Diarra after shipping him out of Chelsea so perhaps we could try and tickle him out as well
Apparently Diarra has some stomach injury that may hamper his career

Seeing as Marquez is probably going to NYRB and Henrique is going to be on loan again somewhere, do you know who Barca's fourth choice CB will be next season?

I hope that Zubizaretta (new sporting director) doesn't do those stupid loan purchase Txiki did with Henrique and Keirrison, Henrique was bought two seasons ago and is yet to play one official game, Keirrison was bought last year and is being flogged around, really pointless. Fourth choice CB would be Muniesa I suppose, or Abidal.

I closed the stream as soon as Bastos scored and missed 2 late goals.

Had a look at it just now, great goal.

It seems like it's the new way to take free kicks, using pure power without much spin so it "floats" in the air. Cristiano Ronaldo uses that technique as well, knuckling I think it's called.

2 terrific goals in Inter's 3-0 mauling of Man City.

    check it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8bNdxil3aU

Great team move for first and the third was a wondrous strike with his right by a left footed 18 yr old.

Seems it's been around for quite long then. I watched a compilation of his free kicks :sogood:
