Anyone actually play this properly? IE asin entering tournaments

I've entered go4sc2 twice and a few ESL cups (Coming 2nd in a smallish one of 60 people) I think the whole atmosphere and tension of playing cups is far superior to playing ladder matches, and one day I get the chance to play against some pro's and knock them out I fancy my chances against white-ra ^.^ Morrow is a legend, since he beat idrA I love him Anyone watch BigT streams also? He's easily the best caster, and i have a SEVERE hatred for day9 :x For some reason I hate him. As well as husky (ANNOYING voice)

I plan to at some point . Don't see the point at all in entering the silver/bronze one so I'm waiting till I get a bit better .

Day9 is awesome, if you don't like him get out . Massively prefer Tasteless(+ Artosis when he's there) casting to BigT really.

The bronze/silver is actually fairly decent, you get some ok players, and it's good experience of the way the cup runs with irc/uploading replays/adding users etc which you don't want the hassle of learning while preparing for a big game vs a plat guy Just entered the TL.net tournament, starts in 2hours. LOT of big names, so can't see me getting even 1 round in xD

Hah, yeah. This is why I wish I played my practice games. Instead I just jumped straight in, lost 3 placement matches (to cheeses) and am now swimming around in Bronze league which is pretty much entirely cheese play that's over in around 10-13 minutes.

I've only played a few games though. Bought SC2 while I was working full time so I haven't had time to play and now I'm at home where I have no PC capable of running games.

I've done a lot more watching than playing as a result, so now I know all the tactics and strats but my macro and multitasking are so far behind that it's all worthless knowledge

Haha, I have that problem . The strategies by most Gold and Silver players are awful and I know how to counter all of them.. I just am incapable of macroing well enough to do it .
