Re: insecure about my body :|No. Way. That you are a size 12 in your profile picture.(Original post by truthandtragedy)
It is her.
She's my best friend in r/l, and she's a twig. Makes me cringe when skinny people call themselves fat. If they think they're fat at a size 8, wtf are they gonna think of me at a size 12?!

Re: insecure about my body :|if tom billings don't like you.. he's a ****(Original post by breebeatdown)
Right, my boyfriend showed me a photo of his celebrity crush and she's stunning and has an amazing body and now I just feel like crap. I'm not fat but I'm not slim. I've got told I've got curves but I just hate my belly. I've got skinny arms and nice legs (not too thin but not fat) and a nice bum. I just want to lose the belly fat I have and I know I'll have to diet and exercise but I'm not sure what I should and shouldn't be eating and how much of it I should be eating.
I've been at a point where I've stopped eating really anything and lived off small yoghurt's and water and lost weight but as soon as I got to a certain weight I noticed I still had belly fat :| and as soon as I started eating kinda normally I piled on the weight.
There is the only picture I have of me standing up. Bare in mind they arn't good ones haha.
but I just need a basic guild line to follow... if anyone can help you'll of saved me.

Re: insecure about my body :|
You look fine however if you do want to lose weight do so healthily.
Healthy weight loss is obtained through a calorie deficit obtained through reduced intake of food and/or exercise. Exercise is recommended as getting into the habit can keep the weight off and improve your body shape. Calculate your BMR using this and then x it by the following dependant on your exercise levels:
If you are sedentary (little or no exercise) : Calorie-Calculation = BMR x 1.2
If you are lightly active (light exercise/sports 1-3 days/week) : Calorie-Calculation = BMR x 1.375
If you are moderatetely active (moderate exercise/sports 3-5 days/week) : Calorie-Calculation = BMR x 1.55
If you are very active (hard exercise/sports 6-7 days a week) : Calorie-Calculation = BMR x 1.725
If you are extra active (very hard exercise/sports & physical job or 2x training) : Calorie-Calculation = BMR x 1.9
Finally minus 500 calories from that figure and that will equal a 1lb weight loss from diet alone. Exercise like swimming, walking, running and cycling are all great cardio and can easily be incorporated into your current lifestyle even if it's busy! Weight training will increase your BMR and help achieve that "tight and toned" appearance as your body fat decreases and your muscle mass increases.
Eating six times a day is ideal as it stops you becoming hungry. You shouldn't cut anything out, just look for healthier alternatives and eat them less often.
Good luck, but as I said you look fine as you are judging by the pic.
