I know this is really early but my parents are trying to book a holiday for next summer and my brother will be waiting for his A2 results. Anybody got any idea when the 2011 results date is in August?? I am sure i read somewhere that it will be much earlier next year.

3rd Thursday of August so it is the 18th next year. You can check on the AQA website!

I think it's the same every year.

GCSE results day is a tuesday this year

As a mum expecting both GCSE and A2 results next year I needed to know this information too. Many conflicting dates on the internet, eventually found this article which clarifies it. A levels 18/8/2011, GCSE's 25/8/2011.

Update: The results have been moved forward with the AS and A level results available electronically to establishments on Wed 10 August and to candidates on Thursday 11 August. GCSE results will be similarly available on 17 and 18 August.
