Anyone living in private accomodation as a 1st year?

Just wondering if anyone is living in private accomodation as a 1st year. am moving into a great flat but am abit worried about a) living by myself and b) not making any friends as i wont be around for all the freshers stuff.
got a spare room too if anyone is interested?
im staying buy myself!!!!!! im worried too are you not sharing your flat with anyone. but i guess lots of people are so we will be okay. where abouts is your flat. mine is near guys campus but as studying in waterloo

am not sharing with anyone at the moment, fingers crossed my boyfriend will be moving in soon...its near the guys campus, 2 min walk from shadwell tube station.. (i think anyway!?)
have you moved in yet?

Thanks. nice to know i'm not the only one. think i will like it in some ways- dont have to share toilets and all that. hope i wont get too lonely
