I work late and have a friendship circle mostly made up of students who are on their summer holidays working bar/catering part time jobs so we don't hang out during normal hanging out hours. Plus a few of us recently started driving, being aged 18-22, so the novelty of on demand socialising still hasn't wore off. So now we are pretty much collectively nocturnal. If you couple this with the recent release of mountain dew to UK markets my sugar intake has increased and since my diet is so ****** over summer I feel like **** for about 5 hours after waking up, which is usually around 2-4pm in the afternoon. Plus, the fact that I work for dominos means that whilst I don't start consuming food and drink until around 6pm, the food I do eat is usually pizza/crunchy nut clusters and mountain dew which is all high calorie. Therefore I am sat here at 2.22am thinking about going over my girlfriends house for some lunch and maybe watch a movie. I might start thinking about crashing at around 7/8am. I am not remotely tired and to stabilise my sleep pattern I would need to stay up for maybe a day and a half to get sufficiently tired at around 9-11pm, which is a ritual I have practised since that very disorientating summer of GCSE year which lasted pretty much 3 months.
I don't know, to be honest. It started with a 1-am recording session (like you do). Then I ended up on Reddit, the toxic timewaster, before visiting here for a nostalgia-trip and remembering being obsessed with this site waiting for exam results.

My eyes hurt.

I got back from the pub an hour ago and am still too inebriated to sleep. I can still spell though!

Exactly! Although possibly not the spelling part...i'll see how it goes!

Took a friend to the pub as it's the anniversary of her Nans death today, what was going to be a couple of drinks turned into a quiet substantial amount of shots, will make getting up for work tomorrow morning great fun XD

Still up because i'm stupid enough to have forgotten to put my uniform through the wash before I went to bed...29min quick wash ftw

Ahh, ours went from a quiet glass of wine and a chinwag to 2 pitchers of cocktails and getting into a debate about the Iraq war and having drinks bought for us by some soldiers on leave

Having chips on the way home was wise, it sobered us both up xD

Just came back home and pretty drunk. Time for a sandwich. A big one.
Was talking to a friend on FB; now he's gone to bed and I can't be bothered to get up from the sofa. :dontknow:
My sleeping pattern falls apart during vacations. I'm also here at the family's holiday home with parents - I don't know the local language and have jack **** to do. Hello useless internet arguments.
2am is not late, that's why. :nothing: 10am is :cry2:
