Why is there no clearing lists in paper!?

This must have a simple answer.

I bought the Independant and the Herald this morning and neither had clearing lists like people were saying. All they did was complain about how many people are getting rejected at clearing!!! :woo: :eek3:

Also, have a look at Glasgow clearing list lmao. Its pathetic!

Not sure I think I will wait until 0900 before I come knocking.

UWS and Stirling are basically the best options, so I think I will go for UWS since I can't afford to live at halls.

The Independent publishes the full Clearing list on 19 August - at this stage only the Scottish unis are publishing vacancies, and this is done online on UCAS and on the uni sites themselves.

Looking at the lists published on UCAS so far, it looks to me like the unis are playing extremely cautiously because they are still waiting for the A level results to come out. The position may look a little more encouraging at that point.
