    NUS Cards and Website Registration
    Hi guys,

For those of you that havn't read about me my name is beN and I'm the Website Officer on the Aston Students' Guild Executive. Just got back from two very long days of executive training and I thought I'd let you know the following to help your freshers week run even more smoothly :-)

    Guild Website:

All members whether home students, international students or your general move to brum students should register with the Guild Website at http://www.thestudentsguild.com and remember your username.

You will need to give your username in order to collect your NUS card and also when joining societies at the Freshers' Fair.

The instructions on the site are pretty straightforward, if you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me via this thread or a pm here.

All the best, I look forward to meeting you all,

    beNcooKe

    yes and no.

even though you have the NUS logo on the Aston Campus card you still NEED to collect an NUS card. More and more places that use the NUS card for discounts are now swiping your NUS at the till as they need info off the card's magnetic strip which can't be stored in the Aston Campus card so you need to collect the other card.

The NUS card you collect ensures you'll get everything you are entitled to as members of an NUS affiliated Guild.

NUS card collection is one of my areas so I'll probably be seing you when you collect yours in Freshers' Week.
