To those who did AH Physics this year (or any AH science really)
On the Wave Phenomena and Physics Investigation 'Credit' columns, they are both 4's. For every other level beside AH subjects, there are 8's.
I presume that Wave Phenomena is in reference to the nab, so why is there a 4 beside it when the other nabs have 8's? Does this mean that the wave phenomena nab was not submitted?
I've just realised that I haven't explained it well at all. If anyone understands the credit system, and does not understand my explanation, please comment and I'll try again.
I'm going into school to ask once they open again, just wondering if anyone can help me now.Last edited by GuitaringEgg; 05-08-2010 at 12:54. -
Re: To those who did AH Physics this year (or any AH science really)As far as I'm aware the total amount of credits for each subject should add up to 32, normally 3 units each made up of 8 credits then the final exam(which is always 8), for Advanced Higher sciences there are three units and an investigation, so both the investigation and one unit count for a half an ordinary unit. For Languages there are only two units, one of which is worth 16 credits, the other 8.(Original post by GuitaringEgg)

Re: To those who did AH Physics this year (or any AH science really)
namedeprived is correct. In every scottish qualification you do, including degrees in Scotland there are a certain number of credits that correspond to that course. Each one is supposed to be worth 10 hours of study, and most unis want you to do 120 a year
