Re: SQA Appeals Info :: Ask all appeals questions in here, please!Apparently I got a C5 for my design element of art, since I was predicted an A for it my school are appealing - it is slightly wtf as I got A2 for the other elements and both my teachers thought my design was good
I feel bad complaining though since I got an A overall! -

What are you doing this year? You just reminded me of someone else in my HNC class who said "Omg, why are there so many practicals in this course?!" and the lecturer replied "Because it's applied science?"

I applied to College to do a HND because I didn't get into Uni, but if I get my appeal I'll have good enough grades to get into Uni. The problem is College starts on the 30th of August and I've heard appeals don't get sent out till 20th of September.

I didn't think I was going to get to appeal because my teacher put in the wrong estimate for me so I was missed off the appeals list. However, the depute head phoned the SQA and fortunately they are still letting me submit an appeal. I don't know when they are received. I think it's late September or early October.(Original post by matthew93)

I got a no award and she told me she was pretty sure I'd get a B, and a C at worst, so to not come out with anything was a pain. I got an A at Higher and Int 2 so they're pretty much telling me I've gotten worse since last year! It wasn't as if I didn't work during the year either cause I did, so I'm hoping I can come out with a C but I dunno really. It'd be nice to even just get a D so it's at least acknowledged!

Re: SQA Appeals Info :: Ask all appeals questions in here, please!My teachers have already sent away my appeals, but they weren't that clear with me, just how strong my appeals cases are. I got a B for Modern Studies 2 marks of an A (68%) and for my prelim I got an A (80%) plus I got Straight A's in NAB's and essays under exam conditions. So how likely is this appeal? Also in English I ended upwith a C a couple marks off a B, but for the first prelim I got an A (74%) and in the second I got another A (85%), and i got mostly 21s in my exam condition english essays. So how likely is this appeal? Lastly I just wanted to know if there was a chance that English could go from a C to an A, because the pass mark was only 64 for an A. please help I am so stressed about the appeals!
