You fancy her power. The same as tory boys fancying Margaret Thatcher in the 1980s and 1990s. It's not actually a physical attraction in the same way as fancying Carla Bruni is.

Re: The Commons Bar Mk IIITrue - neither Thatcher or Merkel are physically attractive. However, their power does give them something which makes them attractive, but it's nothing physical. Carla Bruni is fairly attractive but I think her face is too wide.(Original post by Adorno)

I can't think of any attractive politicians. I thought Sarah Palin was attractive for a while, but I have gone off her now. Politics isn't sexy any more
