I haven't read on to see if anyones commented on your post but its really simple honestly!

When you go on BBM you just need to add some contacts using their BB pin.. you can find your BBpin on BBM if you go to 'My Profile'

    Simples
Aha thankyou! I suppose it's wasted on me as only about 3 people I know actually have Blackberrys. Thanks though

That would only apply to a subject knowledgeable of gun mechanics, hardly enough of 'em for it to stand.
Slightly lost here, hardly enough of what to stand?
If they're knowledgeable about gun mechanics they should realise that shooting with the preferred hand is the way to go. If they're less fortunate in that area of knowledge then chances are they'd choose the most intuitive side which would be on the same side a s their preferred hand.
Let's be honest if you picked up a gun and went to shoot yourself would immediately reach around yourself to the otherside to shoot or go for the much quicker, much safer same side as your shooting hand? It's the same as that question about why babies decide to walk on their feet instead of their hands, it just happens pike that we should accept it.

I have never owned an iphone or Blackberry, but I'm going to get rid of 02 and go with Tesco for the iphone 4 in September. I am not jumping on the iphone hype wagon, I just like the handset as it reminds me of my C902 which has never given me any trouble until recently where the battery doesn't keep its charge that long and has a tendency to turn itself off! Not only that I like the 'thinness' of it which is another factor that has attracted me to the iphone 4.

    So yea . .iphone4 :yep:

    Which is best really?
I know its all down to personal preference but I have heard very conflicting things so far. Its almost a 50/50 split.

I've never had a Blackberry or an iPhone and would really like to know what people think of either one.

I'm changing contract providers (O2 to Orange) and I want to make the most of my money.

Does any one have any idea which would be the better phone?

    Thank you
Definitely Iphone. I despise Blackberrys and heres why:

A fair few of my mates have them and none of them work properly, they are forever having problems with them. And the quality is awful on them. The screen resolution is very poor.

My sister had one and the track ball broke on it which is a common problem. At the end of her contract she stupidly decided to get another one. Within a few days it broke. (Cant receive texts, has to take the battery out and out it back in to receive them).

Also in a recent poll, (cant find the link right now) 80% of iphone users said they would buy another. 80% of HTC users would buy another, but only 42% of Blackberry users would buy another.

Seriously, get an iphone lol. (And im not a fan boy, Ive never owned an iphone but its Apple, and is bound to be reliable)

    Re: iPhone 4 or Blackberry?
I've got a BlackBerry, and I like it.

I don't think I'd get on with an iPhone 4 as I detest touchscreen phones. I much prefer the qwerty keyboard on the BB. I've got a few apps on my BlackBerry (Weather, dictionary, german-english translator) as well.

Plus the BlackBerry is so much cheaper than the iPhone and I can neither afford, nor really want to pay the overinflated price of the iPhone. So yeah, BlackBerry for me

    Re: iPhone 4 or Blackberry?
I had a touch screen phone for a year and hated it, but I liked the full qwerty keyboard, so when I upgraded I got a bb, and i really like the phone. I haven't had any problems with it so far and I only pay £20 a month so its a cheap contract. Personally I like the look of the iPhone but I really don't like touch screens so I wouldn't choose it myself, especially as they are so expensive. Another thing that puts me off the iPhone is the fact that I have had several iPods, none of which have lasted more than 18 months without problems and Apple have been really unhelpful each time. So, their customer support puts me off (I eventually gave up and bought a sony mp3 player). I'm sure the provider will be happy for you to have a demo of each in store and then you can see which you prefer.

Are you joking? First thing I do when I meet someone, I introduce myself, get their name, their number and then their BB pin. I don't even have a Blackberry...some say I'm weird...:o:

I spent quite a while debating it. Ended up with an Android phone instead and really glad I did.

Don't believe anyone who tells you touchpad typing is as easy as qwerty though, I have both and I'm definitely glad I've got a physical keypad for long messages/emails.
    yepety yep. :yep:
as sexy as the iphone looks, i just use my phone too much to put up with a touchscreen which i personally find soon starts to make my fingers feel all horrible and funny. (my last phone was touchscreen, so now i have a BB).

    Go for Blackberry.

But don't get the Bold. The Blackberry Torch (go check it out) comes out at the end of the month. It comes with BlackBerry OS 6 which is miles ahead of the OS found in all the other Blackberry devices right now. And it's a mix of the Bold and the iPhone tbh. Of course though it would be a bit more expensive than the Bold, but I doubt it'd be as pricey as an iPhone 4.

Seriously though, Blackberry + iPod Touch is the best combination.
