Changing from maths to law

I am currently awaiting my A-level results. I have applied to study for a maths degree and have made a university my firm choice, asking for AAB. However, I have a feeling that I might miss the offer and therefore get rejected. My insurance is also AAB.

But I have decided that I would much rather do law and I wish I had applied for that in the first place.

How likely is it that there will be spaces in law for clearing? And will they go really quick?

Also, being a maths applicant, will this work against me in trying to get a place for law in clearing?

I understand that missing my AAB offer means that I am limited to less respected universities for law, but I am interested in that, and to me, that is what matters.

Any help would be appreciated.
