Lectures will have a something like "L1" written in the block, and seminars will have something like "s1". And there'll be loads of seminars, so you won't have to go to all of them. Plus a lot of the time they're only every other week anyway.

If you click on module at the bottom and then select module student report from the menu, you might be able to see which seminar groups you've been put in. Obviously though this won't work if you're doing a subject where you get to pick your own seminar times!

Nobody will mind about lectures, seminars are techincally compulsory, so it depends on your department/seminar leader (and I've heard that classics can be one of the more anal departments)

I have a friend who does history and classics, I think her seminar leader (I'm not sure which subject) actually asked her for a doctors note to prove she was ill! I don't think she ever gave him one though.
