Sainsbury's passport issue - HELP

So the Sainsbury delivery man came today with our shopping, he said he couldn't give it to me unless I was 18.

I am not 18 but I used an altered photocopy of my passport that said I was 19, he accepted it but took down the passport number (which is my actual passport number). I asked him why, he said he would do nothing with it its just to prove he asked for id.

I am worried though, is there any way in which they could use the passport number to find my real age? I wouldn't think so because that is very invasive and could be used for fraud.

But i'm just worried as this may result in a fine or something/ criminal record which would be super gay.

Yeah i agree, i wouldnt worry about it- you have your shopping anyway.

lmao obviously dont worry, its probably just if someone claimed their shopping wasn't delievered then they could potentially use the passport number to find out who nicked it... seems a bit dodgey he took it down anyway really
Weird that he took the number but you'll be ok.
