I've overlooked one major thing, so I'd appreciate any help greatly.

How do I get from King's Cross to King's College Halls?

I think you can get a bus or the northern line to elephant & castle then get a train to denmark hill station. From there you can walk to the halls, but as you'll probably have bags you may want to take a cab :rolleyes:

Go from King's Cross Thameslink to Blackfriars, then swap there for a train to Denmark Hill.

Alternatively, there is a bus that goes to Denmark Hill from Kings Cross... I think it's the 148.
