Re: Stirling General Chat ThreadOkay hehe(Original post by RyanC)
I think I probs will just for the fact that if i want to go to something, i've got the option.
By the way, I don't know if you've already sold that politics book, but I don't need it. My aunt's got a copy of the same one and the price is right - £0.
I'll find someone to take it

Re: Stirling General Chat ThreadI had the same problem last year. I was in the union but not in Glow (I was waiting on friends who had to queue for tickets). My friends got in but I never.(Original post by -Neon-)
I hate how the F pass has an entry time with it.
I like to stumble into places around 12 o'clock or so :P
I probably wouldn't get one either way...
Waste of money.
What does everyone think of the Freshers line up this year?
I wanted another Silent Disco

Re: Stirling General Chat ThreadFreshers last year was a crazy time...this year should hopefully be less mental seeing as i'm supposedly more mature hah(Original post by ithinkitslametodance)
I didn't think that far ahead :P
I didn't do much for freshers last year. I intend to make up for it this year! -
Re: Stirling General Chat Thread
No one goes to Fubar (or Dusk) on Saturdays or Sundays because it's when all the locals are out (and it's £9 to get in Fubar on a Saturday night).
You don't have to follow any list about where you want to go - find out yourself what you like and go. I hate heading out to Dusk on a Monday because it is ridiculously busy (and it's £3 to get it, where as you can get it Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday for just a £1) and it's not like Monday is the only night they do £1 drinks. I also don't like Sunday in Fubar as the music just isn't to my taste. -
Re: Stirling General Chat ThreadThey'll reopen Dusk on Wednesdays and Thursdays once uni starts back up - they'd be stupid not too.(Original post by Cirrus)
Actually I forgot about Eva on a Sunday! Dusk is now closed on a Wednesday and Thursday so the £1 passes only work on Tuesdays. Saturday night is not actually a bad night anymore but Friday is still awful. -
Re: Stirling General Chat ThreadThere used to be the option to do that. Let me have a look and see what I can find.(Original post by Propane Nightmares)
When submitting pictures for my Student i.d, it only gives options to upload a picture, is there any way i could just send them some passport pictures by post? -
Re: Stirling General Chat ThreadYou're not allowed a deep fat fryer.(Original post by RyanC)
Guys, what electrical things can i or can i not take?
I'd like to take along a mini fridge, but if i cant then hey ho. Same goes for a toastie maker and suchlike.
Thanks
You're allowed a mini-fridge, toastie maker, toaster etc.
Don't bring anything that's a fire hazard, like candles or Christmas tree lights.
