I'm quite curious you non drinkers. What are you planning on doing during Freshers Week? Still go to the clubs? Personally, i'm trying to give up the alcohol altogether which isn't hard, but i'm hoping I can continue to resist while at uni.......I can't stand clubs therefore i'm dreading freshers, because i'll sound like a right loser if I keep declining invitations to go out.....

Re: Non-drinkers, what are your reasons for not drinking alcohol?a) I drink coke all the time. I quite like the taste of something such as Jack Daniels and coke. It makes a change.(Original post by Sisko_197)
It tastes nasty, only way to make it even vaguely tolerable is to drink it with coke or something. Yet then I always think, why not just have the coke?
b) A lot of people don't drink alcohol for the taste, but the release.
I'm not saying you're wrong, it's fair enough you think that, but other people prefer something a bit "extra" for a night out so it's not as pointless as it sounds. -

I don't drink because I see no point. No matter how much I drink, or what I drink, I don't even get tipsy but I still wake up with a massive hangover. And I always need to pee every five minutes when I drink alcohol which gets annoying
Can't you just drink soft drinks or water? All the times that I've reluctantly been dragged to go clubbing, I've just stuck to water until one of my friends pretty much blackmails me into drinking.(Original post by CookieDoughLove)

It makes me less apprehensive of uni.
