Really confused, HND or degree or foundation year
Hi, I got my results from my BTEC ND electronics, was tripple distinction.
I have a place at coventry uni in BEng electronics, just really unsure as to weather to take up the offer.
A open day at birmingham uni has really put me off, they only seemed interested in candidates with A levels, they said the BTEC is weak and you really need to increase your maths skills, I have gone out a purchased K.A.Stroud engineering maths and Im going to work through that to try and pull my maths up.
Ive heard about the foundation years, they sound good.
Ive also applied for a HND at my local college, the college is pretty crap, its a case of teach yourself. Im not sure as to get a HND then find a job to fund a degree, or go and do a foundation year.
The problem at the moment is that there may not be any places on the foundation year (i never applied for it), the HND may not be running due to lack of applicants (I never applied through ucas for this either)
