Accepting a clearing position

So basically, I didn't get in to both Firm and Insurance choice, proper gutted, because all I needed to get into Insurance was 4 more marks in maths...

But anyway, so I rang up UWE to get a Civil Engineering clearing space, I have got the email, all I have to do is add it on UCAS, but....

If I add UWE as my choice, do I now have to go there, as I am going to an open day on monday, and based on that I will decide If I want to go or not...
