question about AS results and predicted grades for UCAS

I want to apply for chemistry with maths at keele 2011

My AS results are BBBC, c in chemistry =/ However the practical part dragged this down (e) so yeah

As fir predicted grades, can I ask my teacher for a B in chemistry as opposed to a C?

Keele want BBC, Bs in chemistry/maths

How effective is what I think I can achieve as opposed to predicted? So if I say I can get a B but predicted grade says C will this be effective?

I guess you can ask your teacher to, if you intend to retake the practical part.

I'm hoping the same to be honest, I got a b in AS biology thanks to a D in my ISA - but I could do with a prediction of A.

You need your predicted grades to be Bs - what you think you can achieve isn't really good enough because the universities can't see into your brain or see how you're working throughout the year, all they've got to go on is your AS grades and then your teachers predicted grade meaning you need to work hard at ensuring you give them a reason to predict you a B.
