University Policies

Spoken to someone at Leeds University that says its the University policy not to accept anyone with grades lower than the offer. I thought during clearing that grades would decrease to fill all the places, is that not the case?

There's massive competition for places this year, so there's every likelihood that Leeds may not even enter Clearing. And there are so many applicants floating around who missed their offer at other unis (but still meet the requirements for Leeds) that I doubt they will have to resort to lowering their grade requirement to fill their courses.
