Or do you wallow in your sadness?

:bong:
Read a bit of Harry and/or watch something funny (QI, A Bit of Fry and Laurie, The Inbetweeners)
Watch some comedy movies for hours on end :yep: Once I watched 6 movies back to back in one day

I cut myself.
Watch Top Gear or Mock The Week - something like that.

Listen to music, play games, wallow in thinking of what to do before I eventually wallow in sadness. Then I repeat the process till I'm occupied.
Usually I'm sad for a reason, so I listen to a beautiful piece of music to make me forget the reason I was ever sad.

Other than that, a few clips of Dara O'Briain or Dylan Moran, or any decent comedian, will usually do the trick. Half an hour of good gaming or a good book will also achieve a similar effect.
Well, the last couple of times when I've felt like ****... my friend has linked me to the Youtube video "Where the Hell is Matt?" - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zlfKdbWwruY

It usually cheers me up

You could watch a comedy, listen to some cheerful music if you can stand it.
call a friend/hang out/mess around with friends, help someone who is worse off than you (voluntary work)
Hug your pet(if you have one),take dog for a walk/jog to get those endorphins going.
Read a funny book
That s about all I can think of

Love the sig Btw
I stare out my window and look at the sky and the trees.
Or I go for a walk by myself and immerse myself in nature.

If something has bothered me, I'll complain to my friends. Then I jabber on and on until I realise there's no need to be down.

Either that, or distract myself with something, such as learning japanese, watching anime, tidying up, etc...

It depends. Sometimes I will watch a comedy movie/TV show, read a book to take my mind off things, talk to a friend or listen to music. I also live in the countryside so it's nice to go for a walk when I'm feeling upset. But then at times I do like to wallow in sadness :p:

I masturbate to Justin Bieber, particulary to this picture:

He makes me feel nice again.
I rant to my boyfriend, or have a shower with all my nicest shower stuff, or I get into bed with my microwaveable bunny ^_^

Or, ****. I genuinely do. It either cheers you right up, or makes you so sleepy you don't care anymore.
Play games, go out, read books, generally I don't need cheering up though because I do these things anyway.
