Re: I'm from Loughborough.. any questions?
    hey mate, I gotta ask:

    1) Are there any martial arts local to Lboro Uni. I know one that's in the campus but I wanted to know if there was any like local via car, walk etc
    2) Lboro basketball team; Do scouts from USA come down to Lboro, I hear Loul deng comes often. Could you get recruited to play pro ball in USA cos of Lboro status as number one sports uni in the world. I hope to reach there (if I can reach the conditioning and get the ball skills sorted)
3)I hear Lboro is a cockfest. That right? So if I were to see any females at Lboro, its cos they are there for the sports. I still reckon Lboro is awesome but I was told it was a cockfest and all the females there are there just for sport. Is that true? Just curious about this

I got negged a LOT for saying it wasn't a huge cockfest in a different thread but personally I don't think it's too bad - but then again i'm a girl and I think the guys notice it a lot more. I've got lots of friends who are girls so it can't be too bad, and they're not all here for sport!

lol shelthorpe isn't that bad, but saying that i only drive through it to get to and from loughborough or if i do go to the mcdonalds or massive tescos there :P but theres now a tesco in the centre of loughborough now, so its kinda making shelthorpe a bit redundant nowadays :P

Loughborough isn't a city And yes there is a new look, primark, next, dorothy perkins etc. The town centre is about a 10/15 minute walk from the train station, the weather is usually rainy

    1. Several. But it's a town, not a city
    2. Town centre, about 1km. Campus, about 2.5km. The train station is on the edge of the town, the campus is on the other side.
    3. It's the UK, that's anyone's guess
