    GTTR is live!
    It's open, folks.

Just for a heads up, when you get on the register page there's a known error where you are unable to scroll down. I rang them and they're trying to sort it over the next couple of days, but in the meantime here's a workaround:

Enter the registration page as normal - and yep, you can't scroll down.

Copy the link at the top, close the window down and then paste this link into your browser.

You can then scroll down and register as normal - I just did .

    Happy applying!

GTTR Educational - Main Subject Studied for Degree
It says Main Degree Subject(s) and then Time Spent on the application. I do psychology as my degree. Do I put Psychology 100% or do I put each individual module? And if I do would it only be modules in my 2nd and 3rd year that contribute to my actual degree

I've split mine up into 'subject areas' (Evolution, Devlopmental Biology, Ecology etc.) just so that it shows the range of what I've studied because I'm doing biology and its quite a broad subject and I've done it for all three years of my degree

I knew it would go live whilst I was at school! Had a group of year 13s and was gutted that I saw it go live whilst I was in the class Rushed home now and all is complete (simple copy and paste and enter exam results) and just waiting for my reference which I know is written so should be too long!

    Good luck everyone!!

The personal statement was such a nightmare, despite being with the 47 lines according to word when i pasted it into chrome (google plug hehe) and saved it said i was over.

The only thing that surprised me is that i thought i would pay before it gets sent to my referee. And it would be nice for them to confirm my submission in an email! tut tut

The same thing happened to me... I had 41lines on Word and when I pasted it in it said I had 1 line too many, and the same on my Work Experience.

I wonder if ours have been lost in the system since you can no longer go back on the login page.

    Hi
Just wondering, what have you guys who have applied today written in the work experience section? Do you do bullet points of where and what dates etc, or do you have to write details about what you did in detail?
Thanks, and good luck everyone applying!

that's strange, but to be honest, i was in the library today and i randomly check the gttr site and they were accepting applications. So the geek that i am i rushed home only to discover the same technical problem you seem to be having. I kept trying and within 10mins i could register.

I'm applying for history at Oxford, Cambridge, Man Met and Keele.

Arrrr thanks that does work! Still no reference though. Im applying for history too at Leeds Trinity, York and Hull. I was first reserve for Trinity last year so I am hoping I will manage to pass the interviews again and get a place this time.

Yeh good stuff getting on. I'm a second timer too. Last year i made it to Oxford for the interview, but was unsuccessful. Now i'm back with a vengeance. haha. Although i am worried about the costs this year, still undisclosed, i've seen between 5-8k!!

5-8k? No way... However, there are new bursaries for next year based upon what degree class you hold. Have you seen them? History holds up to £9k bursary depending on what degree you have so that would be rather nice.
