2011 Subject League Tables

I have been using The Complete University Guide's and the Guardian's league tables to decide what the strongest unis are for Economics. Who's are more reliable? Or is there a better guide?

What would you lot rate as top top 10 unis for Economics outside of the obvious Oxbridge and LSE?
I'll itemise every possible thread response for you:

1. League tables are rubbish, all unis are equal! Go to the uni you like and would enjoy studying at!

2. Stupid A-level student who doesn't know anything looking at league tables :rolleyes:

3. League tables are rubbish, they don't know what the good unis are! Warwick and Bristol are the best after the Top 3, no matter what some rubbish newspaper says!

4. These unis are ranked 4th, 5th and 6th on league tables, so they're the best after Oxbridge and LSE.
