High Heels for a Petite Girl :)

Hello, so I don't really go out 'to town' in the evening all that much and it is all quite new to me. I was wondering if someone could help find a pair of nice heels for me to wear

I'm a bit of a 'rock girl' (translate that how you wish) so i've never really had a pair of heels before barring prom. Preferably dark in colour, i'd like a semi-cheap pair (reluctant to spend over £30 on a student budget!) which will go with bare legs and help lengthen my puny 5'1 height.

Thank you in advance

p.s. I did find these but my friend told me they would make my legs look shorter as they have 'ankle straps'? IDK

Internacionale have some great squared toed court shoes for £17.99 (I think it's buy 1 get 1 free on shoes too!) and I always get complimented on them. They are so flattering.

Yeah, if you're petite (I'm 5ft 1in too!) clumpy shoes will make your legs look chunkier. I was going to recommend New Look anyway because they do good cheap heels but maybe something a bit more simple like this? http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/shoes/frill-peep-toe-shoe_196805401?icSort=-bestSellerScore

i have these and they make my legs look amazing! (I'm 4'11" btw..) a little bit more than you said you wanted to spend, but totally worth it I think.

Or perhaps this is more appropriate

I'm not exactly the fashion expert either lol, but I'd go with some simple but nice court shoes rather than strappy cage type shoes.
