Should I be doing Photography AS

I'm not a very arty/creative person. I hated art during years 7-9 (to be fair, I can't draw and I hated the teachers) and I'm considering doing photography but I'm not sure if I'd be very good at it. I've usually stuck to more academic things but I do enjoy taking pictures (I took a lot of pictures (mostly of friends etc..) at school/prom/other events) so I was just thinking if it'd be sensible for me to take it...

Also, I'm afraid universities will see it as an easy subject when it comes to applying :P I'm doing maths, psychology and physics A levels and I plan to to do either psychology or maths at uni so I don't know if photography would hinder that at all
